SS Backwards Longhorns was started in 2000 by Scott Simmons. Scott wanted something different and he went searching for just that. The Backwards in the name comes from Scott purchasing his first animals without having a place to keep them, I'd call that backwards how about you? Scott married Dara Croxford on Jan 1, 2002. The business has grown to over 40 animals located at the old homestead of George and Mildred Sanders, Medora, IL.
